Last night I went to the Holy Spirit Men's Club with my younger brother Bobby to hear Jim Geiger, President and CEO of Cbeyond, give a talk about how he founded Cbeyond and grew it into a highly successful telecom and Internet provider for small businesses.

What I took away from his talk was the importance of focusing his business on a niche market, finding people who share the same values, and the importance of listening to customers and employees. I really enjoyed hearing some of his childhood stories and hearing how his family and community help to form the beliefs that make him successful today.
