I got into Houston yesterday - Tommy, Linda, and Alex picked me up from the airport.  Of course, my initial reaction on seeing Tommy was a big hug but coming from the close quarters of a MD 88 made this a bad idea.  We had a good time catching up and a good friend (Asad Jafari) from my Price Waterhouse days dropped by the apartment to reconnect. 

 

I had the chance this morning to hit some golf balls with Alex before going over to the airport to see Linda and him off.  Tommy and I then grabbed some Chinese buffet for lunch (just kidding Linda - we had some safe spagetti/alfredo ;).  Tommy then showed me around Hermann Park and we went for an hour or so walk.

 

Now Tommy and I are catching up on email and listening to some tunes - life is good.
