Hi, my name is Jay Paulus and I’m part of the team responsible for evangelizing Office as a platform for building business applications.  Though developers have been building applications using the Microsoft Office system for many years now, with this release, the Office system – both client and server, have reached critical mass as a platform.  The addition of workflow, Open XML file formats, enterprise search, and ASP.NET 2.0 integration among other things enables developers to create a new type of solution we call Office Business Applications, or OBAs.  These new applications help to bridge the gap between user & document based process and the transactional systems that most companies use as a back-end.

Whether you're looking for the interactivity of the classroom and the flexibility of an online course, or you simply want to improve your skills with new Microsoft Products, we can help.
http://learning.microsoft.com/Manager/Default.aspx

Getting the eLearning clinics up and running can be a little frustrating so please use the following guidelines to work through the course.

First, you need to login to the site using your Windows Live ID.  Next, you need to add the courses you want by searching through the catalog and click the 'Add to My Learning' button.  Once you have selected the courses, then you have to go through the check-out process, even though they are free, to make the labs available for use.  Once you have "purchased" the labs you can select the course you want to view by selecting "Launch E-Learning" from the drop-down list and click the "Go" button.

You might need to turn off the Pop-up Blocker for the labs to run, and you might need to change some other brower settings if the courses do not launch.  Typically you are sent to the course details page with no warning that the course did not start.  Please see: http://learning.microsoft.com/Help/Default.aspx
